A couple of new options when it comes to Scanners

The portable scanning market is getting erroneously combined with the mobile scanning niche.  There are very few truly mobile scanners that can be taken anywhere, scan nearly anything and can run for hours away from the computer.  Much of the recent hype for products such as NeatReceipts Scanners was that it was a mobile scanner when it really is more of a portable desktop scanner that can only be used with a computer hook up.  Labeling it as mobile is a little misleading because you have to have a computer to do your scanning.  Granted you could be using a laptop or even a net book but your scanner won't even start in most cases without a USB Connection.  If you want to use your scanner as an actually mobile, portable and usable scanner then you need to explore the a couple of models that have the ability to scan on the go, in the car and while not being attached to a computer in anyway.

If you look to the Vupoint Magic Wand Scanner and the Flip-Pal™ mobile scanner to experience the innovation needed to have the perfect scanner that will fit in your brief case and scan all of your receipts right in the car.  Imagine how great it will be to have a scanner that is ready to scan your gasoline receipts right as you take the receipt from the pump.  I have used the Vupoint Magic Wand Scanner for a number of business receipts and used it to scan my gas receipts immediately.  It is great because I never have to worry about losing one of those small pieces of paper or having them fade and become unreadable.  It saves time and money while making tax time a log easier too.

If you are more interested in scanning photos or scanning oversize objects then you need to look more closely at the Flip-Pal™ mobile scanner.  It is a fantastic work of modern innovation and has taken mobile scanning to the next level.  The unique stitching software allows you to scan large objects that can be several feet wide and several feet tall.  It is an incredible thing to see and it does what nearly all other scanners can not do.

Check the links here to other posts and to the Flip-Pal site itself to find more information and try one today.
